Most products you buy have visible labels to warn of any related dangers. But this is not the case with wireless devices which can cause significant harm. Their warning labels are weak, non-existent, or simply assert that the device is safe.
All wireless devices, including wireless antennae (cell phone towers), smartphones, Wi-Fi modems, bluetooth devices, wireless security cameras, baby monitors, and Smart Meters – emit non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation (EMR) which creates an electromagnetic field (EMF) around the device.
For many years, engineers claimed that the only possible effect from wireless devices was the heating of human tissue (thermal effect) produced by exposure to high level radio frequency (RF) radiation. They believed this was harmless.
But scientists around the world, including those within our own National Institutes of Health, have now proven that exposure to wireless radiation causes biological harm at levels below thermal thresholds.
Hundreds of EMF scientists from 43 countries around the world have been warning about these biological harms for many years. In 2015, they signed an appeal to the United Nations and the WHO which they continue to advocate. It states:
“Numerous recent scientific publications have shown that EMF affects living organisms at levels well below most international and national guidelines. Effects include increased cancer risk, cellular stress, increase in harmful free radicals, genetic damages, structural and functional changes of the reproductive system, learning and memory deficits, neurological disorders, and negative impacts on general well-being in humans.”
Children suffer the most from exposure to RF radiation because of their rapidly developing bodies, thinner skulls, and immature nervous systems. Research shows this exposure can cause headaches, persistent nosebleeds, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, sleep disruption, ADHD symptoms, weakened immune system and abnormal brain development.
The FCC, the FDA, and other state government agencies are charged with ensuring wireless devices are safe for the public, but the government is not regulating these dangers.
A hearing took place on November 20th, 2023, whereby Dominion Energy sought approval to raise the rates on any residential customer who refuses installation of a Smart Meter.
