Dr. Sam Sigoloff, a family medicine physician and US Army Major, was one of three Department of Defense (DoD) physician whistleblowers who spoke out about a dramatic increase in serious medical diagnoses in 2021 among military personnel after receiving the mandated COVID-19 vaccines. After providing reasonable medical exemptions to service members choosing not to receive a COVID injection, Dr. Sigoloff was suspended from clinical practice and his exemptions were overturned by a non-physician military commander.
Senator Ron Johnson (Ranking Member of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations) heard testimony at a January 24, 2022 Roundtable from the whistleblowers’ attorney (Tom Renz) and demanded immediate investigation of both the DoD’s management of the disturbing adverse events reports (including data tampering claims) and possible retaliatory actions taken against the whistleblowers.
Dr. Sigoloff is the only physician in the U.S. military that is suing the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of the Army and the commanding general at his duty station for these egregious actions.
